Perceived Roles of Religious and Cultural Teachers in Implementing the Curriculum towards Achieving and Sustaining Peace in Imo State

The study investigated the perceived roles of Religious and Cultural Teachers in Implementing Curriculum towards Achieving Sustaining Peace Imo State. was guided by two research questions one hypothesis. Descriptive survey design adopted for study. Multistage proportionate stratified random sampling techniques were used to draw a sample 224 Christian religious teachers from population 602 junior senior public secondary schools. Researchers developed rating scales: Roles Achievement Rating Scale (RCTRPARS) Level Discharge their Towards (LRCTDRTAPRS). reliability internal consistency RCTPPARS LRCTDRTAPRS are 0.86 0.82 respectively while temporal stability 0.80 0.83 respectively. Mean standard deviations answer z-test statistics test hypothesis at 0.05 significant levels. Findings showed sixteen specific cultural expected play discharging these duties, have significantly performed below average level. should endeavour be more proactive discharge duties areas through effective curriculum implementation so as enhance realization peaceful society all citizens.
